Wello Lingolingo delivers Sunday special for UE over Adamson

Wello Lingolingo delivered one of his specialties on Sunday as he drilled the game winner for University of the East against Adamson University, 63-62, in UAAP Season 87 at the Mall of Asia Arena.

With less than 12 seconds left in the fourth quarter, Nico Mulingtapang carried the ball down on the Red Warriors' side and tried to win the game with less than three seconds left. However, he missed and Lingolingo grabbed the rebound. Lingolingo then made a jumper with 0.8 ticks remaining to seal the win for the Recto-based squad.

Precious Momowei led UE with 14 points, 11 rebounds, three steals, an assist, and a block, while Devin Fikes had 11 points, three rebounds, one assist, and a block. Lingolingo, meanwhile, had ten points, five boards, and three steals.
