PBA: Import Aaron Fuller reunites with old coach Yeng Guiao at Rain or Shine

PBA: Aaron Fuller of the TNT Tropang Giga

Yeng Guiao is bringing in a familiar face for Rain or Shine's campaign at the PBA Season 48 Governors' Cup next month by tapping import Aaron Fuller to reinforce the Elasto Painters.

The American import played under Guiao during his stint at NLEX in 2017, leading the Road Warriors to a quarterfinals appearance after ending the elimination round with a 7-4 card.

He returned to NLEX in 2018 after replacing Olu Ashaolu and once again helped the team reach the top 8 but they fell to top-seeded Barangay Ginebra. Fuller would come back to the Philippines for another tour of duty with Blackwater in 2019 and TNT in 2022.

Recently, the 34-year-old cager suited up for Fuerza Regia de Monterrey in Mexico, Urunday Universitario in Uruguay, and Gigantes de Guayana in Venezuela.

Fuller will join a Rain or Shine side that is eager to surpass its semifinals run last Philippine Cup, where the wards of Guiao succumbed to San Miguel in four games.

He will bolster a club that features a youthful core led by Andrei Caracut, Shaun Ildefonso, Gian Mamuyac, and Rence Nocum. Rain or Shine recently selected Caelan Tiongson and Felix Lemetti as its 7th and 8th picks in the PBA Draft.
