Jonnel Policarpio wins PBA Rookie Draft Combine MVP plum

De La Salle University's Jonnel Policarpio on Thursday was named as the Most Valuable Player of the PBA Rookie Draft Combine.

Policarpio finished with 14 points as his squad Team B1 topped the mini-tournament against Team A3, 61-44.

Joining Policarpio in the Mythical Five are Justine Baltazar, Brandon Ramirez, Kurt Reyson, and Jordan Bartlett.

Colegio de San Juan de Letran's Kurt Reyson led B1 with 18 points, while Jose Rizal University's Agem Miranda had 17 points. Abdul Sawat of University of the East top-scored A3 with 19 points.

The Rookie Draft will be held on Sunday afternoon.
