Gilas Pilipinas among 16 teams playing in FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament semis
Gilas Pilipinas is among the 16 teams which will play in the semifinals of the four venues of the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament.
The FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament will hand the last four tickets to the Paris Olympics, with the winner from each OQT venue getting a slot in the Summer Games.
Here's how the FIBA Olympic Qualifiers look like around the world:
Latvia
The Philippine team which shocked world no. 6 Latvia and narrowly lost to world no. 23 Georgia is part of Group A in the qualifiers in Latvia.
Gilas will face Group B's top finisher Brazil in the semifinals on Saturday, 8:30 p.m., while Latvia will go against Cameroon in their faceoff on Sunday.

Home team Greece, which has NBA MVP Giannis Antetoukounmpo, will go against the Luka Doncic-led Slovenia in the semifinals.
The other bracket will see Dominican Republic and Croatia play for a finals slot.

Danilo Gallinari and the rest of the Italy squad will face Domantas Sabonis and his Lithuania crew.
On the other hand, Puerto Rico will take on Mexico in the semis.
Spain

Host country Spain will hope for another trip to the Olympics as it faces Finland in the semis of the qualifiers.
Lebanon, the only other Asian team remaining in the OQT, will go against the Bahamas.
