Kiefer Ravena signs with Yokohama in Japan B.League
Filipino import Kiefer Ravena returns to the top flight of Japan B. League after he agreed to join the Yokohama B-Corsairs for the upcoming 2024-2025 season.
The Japanese club announced the development on Friday, just weeks following the veteran guard's decision to part ways with the Shiga Lakes after a three-year stint.
Before leaving Shiga, Ravena helped the team capture the B2 crown en route to a B1 promotion.
"I’m very much excited to play for Yokohoma B-CORSAIRS. This will be a new chapter in my career and I hope I’m able to bring my experience and competitiveness to the team," Ravena said in a statement.
"I’m excited to meet and play for the boosters and make a run for the championship."

Ravena's arrival at Yokohama means he will replace fellow Filipino cager Kai Sotto as its Asian import after the 7-foot-3 big man ended his contract with the squad on the heels of their 24-36 win-loss record outing in the previous campaign.
But before he joins a new club, the 30-year-old Ravena will first banner the Philippines in the 43rd William Jones Cup, where he leads a star-studded Strong Group Athletics team.
