Philippines falls short vs Indonesia to claim silver in ASEAN Schools Games basketball finals

The Philippines fell short to Indonesia, 56-54, in the finals of the ASEAN School Games boys basketball event last June 7 in Vietnam.

The Adamson University high school team represented the Philippines in the boys event.

Prior to this, the Philippines won against Vietnam in the semifinals, 75-55.

Meanwhile in the women's division, the Philippines lost to Thailand, 69-53, in the finals to claim silver as well.

At the end of the multi-sport event, the Philippines finished sixth overall with two gold medals, eight silver medals, and twenty bronze medals. Vietnam claimed overall championship with 44 golds, 31 silvers, and 17 bronzes.
