Dave Ildefonso said he is keeping his options open as his first full season with the Suwon KT Sonicboom in the Korean Basketball League ended recently.

The younger Ildefonso is in the Philippines now and said his contract with Suwon will end by the end of the month.

Suwon, Dave's team since early 2023, finished as runners-up to KCC Egis in the recently concluded season of the KBL.

"Nothing final yet, back and forth pa. Hopefully, may extension," Ildefonso said on Friday after watching his brother Shaun in the PBA Philippine Cup quarterfinals.

(Nothing final yet, still back and forth. Hopefully, there's an extension.)

Shaun is with the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters which fell to TNT in Game 1 of the best-of-three quarterfinals.

Dave said he is also open to play in front of the home crowd, as he admitted that he sometimes misses the country.

"If not, I've been missing the Philippines a lot. Puwede rin namang PBA, PSL, or MPBL, basta anywhere na home," said Dave.

"Nothing sure naman, 50-50 pa. I could play here, I could play abroad.

"Pero nami-miss ko na talaga [ang] Philippines, honestly," added the younger Ildefonso.
