Gilas Pilipinas at the 2025 FIBA Asia Cup Qualifiers
The road to the 2025 FIBA Asia Cup will continue on Thursday as second window of the qualifiers commences at the Mall of Asia Arena.
A total of 24 teams pooled into six groups of four are competing in three windows to advance to the FIBA Asia Cup next year.
Gilas Pilipinas is part of Group B along with Hong Kong, Chinese Taipei, and New Zealand.
Only the top two teams will advance to the final tournament, while the six third-placers will undergo another round to get the last four places allotted.
In the 2022 edition of the FIBA Asia Cup, the Philippines finished ninth.
In the first window back in February, the Philippines defeated Hong Kong and Chinese Taipei.

While June Mar Fajardo and AJ Edu was out back in the February window due to injury, Malonzo will not play in the November window. Edu is still doubtful due to injuries, while Kai Sotto has been cleared to play.
