Carl Tamayo, Asian imports beat Rising Stars in B.League All-Star


Carl Tamayo and the rest of the Asia All-Star team took down the B.League Rising Stars, 127-115, on Saturday in the Asia Rising Star event of the B.League All-Star Weekend in Okinawa, Japan.

Ryukyu's Tamayo posted a team-high 18 points to lead the Asian imports in the victory.

Altiri Chiba's Liu Chuanxing posted 15 points, while SeaHorses Mikawa's Lee Dae-sung had 11 points.

Big men Kai Sotto and Greg Slaughter posted nine points apiece, while Roosevelt Adams and Matthew Wright had six points. Team captain Dwight Ramos had six points.

Ray Parks, Jr., who had seven points, thanked Okinawa for the All-Star experience.

"Thank you, Oki," Parks wrote in the caption of his post.

Kim Kianna Dy, the girlfriend of Ramos, was also in attendance as she posted on her Instagram story.

Brothers Thirdy and Kiefer Ravena and RJ Abarrientos also played in the event.
