Samboy Lim's wake in Letran extended

The wake for the cremated remains of the late basketball icon Samboy Lim in Colegio de San Juan de Letran has been extended until Thursday, December 28.

Letran announced the development on Tuesday on the first day of Lim's 'homecoming.'

"To accommodate more people, the cremated remains of Samboy will stay at the Colegio Chapel until Thursday, December 28, 2023. Viewing starts at 11am until 10pm," the school said.

The inurnment of Lim's remains will be held on Friday at the Garden of the Divine Word Columbarium, Quezon City.

Prior to becoming a PBA player, Lim led the Knights to a three-peat in the NCAA from 1982 to 1984.
