PBA pays tribute to late Samboy Lim

The Philippine Basketball Association on Christmas Day paid tribute to one of its greatest players, Avelino 'Samboy' Lim.

During the halftime break of the match between the San Miguel Beermen and the Phoenix Super LPG Fuel Masters on Monday, the league honored 'The Skywalker' with a video tribute and the final buzzer.

Lim died on Saturday, December 23.

During his PBA stint, Lim played with the San Miguel Beermen where he had nine championships. He was also part of the league's 25 Greatest Players and was inducted to the Hall of Fame in 2009.
