CJ Cansino bids farewell to UP
CJ Cansino bade farewell to the University of the Philippines.
Cansino on Thursday posted a heartfelt message of gratitude to the Diliman community.
"Salamat, Unibersidad ng Pilipinas," Cansino wrote on his post. "Iba kayo magmahal, mag-alaga, at sumuporta."
(Thank you, University of the Philippines. You really love, care, and support us.)
Cansino joined the Fighting Maroons in 2020 after playing for two seasons for the University of Santo Tomas.
(Since I joined the Maroons, you were with me in the first win and in the final loss. We fell short this season but you did not let go through our ups and downs. Fear no one. Thank you for your warm welcome. I owe a lot to those who helped and took care of me in my two years here. Being an Isko would not end here.)
The Fighting Maroons fell to De La Salle University in the UAAP Season 86 men's basketball finals.
Cansino had one championship with UP back in Season 84.
