Kevin Quiambao returning to La Salle for UAAP Season 87

Kevin Quiambao has made the decision to return for one more year with De La Salle University in UAAP Season 87 as the Green Archers eye back-to-back titles.

The Season 86 MVP and Finals MVP bared the development on Wednesday in a short post on Instagram.

“Playing for DLSU has been one of the greatest blessings in my life,” Quiambao said.

“After constantly consulting my family and friends, we’re excited to run it back and try to make it B2B.”

Quiambao’s decision came just a week after DLSU outlasted University of the Philippines in their best-of-three finals duel to reclaim the throne for the first time since 2016.

Quiambao, the Season 85 Rookie of the Year, earlier declined to comment on whether he had reviewed offers to play abroad or elsewhere, saying he will first take his time with his family after two busy seasons with the Taft crew .
