NorthPort ships Robert Bolick to NLEX in three-team trade

NorthPort has traded its main gunner, Robert Bolick, in a three-team deal that also involved NLEX and San Miguel and was approved by the PBA Commissioner’s Office on Monday.

After four seasons with NorthPort, the 6-foot-1 guard will now play for the Road Warriors, who are looking to fill the void left by the injured Kevin Alas after the latter sustained an ACL tear last month and is expected to be out for 10 to 12 months.

NLEX will also receive guard Kent Salado as part of the transaction in exchange for Don Trollano, Kris Rosales and Ben Adamos, along with NLEX's second-round draft pick in Season 49.

But Trollano, will be moved to San Miguel as part of the deal. The Beermen will send Allyn Bulanadi, Jeepy Faundo, and a Season 51 second-round pick to the Batang Pier.

NorthPort received a total of four players from the deal in addition to two future picks while the Road Warriors received a huge boost to their roster with Bolick and Salado.

Trollano, who is averaging 17.43 points per game this conference, will also be a big addition to an already stacked SMB side.

Bolick’s arrival at NLEX is expected to add a major lift as the Frankie Lim-mentored squad is currently on a slump, losing their last three games to drop to 2-5.
