NU takes down FEU for second straight Final Four appearance

National University defeated Far Eastern University, 68-57, on Wednesday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum to book a slot in the UAAP Season 86 Final Four.

The Bulldogs started to pull away in the third period as they outscored the Tamaraws, 21-14, and end the frame at 58-46.

This is the second straight Final Four appearance of the Bulldogs.

Jake Figueroa paced the Bulldogs with 15 points and six rebounds, while Jolo Manansala and PJ Palacielo had 11 and 10 points, apiece as the Bulldogs improved to 9-2.

LJ Gonzales had 14 points and 11 rebounds, while Xyrus Torres and Jorick Bautista had 11 and 10 points, respectively, as the Tamaraws went down to 3-8.

On Saturday, NU will go against University of Santo Tomas while FEU will face University of the Philippines.
