TNT cops third straight leg title in PBA 3x3
TNT reasserted its dominance in the PBA 3x3 after reigning supreme in Leg 3 of Season 3 Second Conference with a 21-12 romp of Cavitex on Tuesday at the Ayala Mall.
The Triple Giga have now become the first team in league history to win three consecutive leg titles in one conference.
Almond Vosotros once again proved he's among the top 3x3 players in the country as he unleashed 12 points highlighted by two three-pointers as TNT cruised to the historic win.
Chester Saldua chipped in four points and 11 rebounds while Ping Exciminiano and Gryann Mendoza finished with three and two points, respectively, as TNT capped its 16th leg title since 2021.
TNT first swept the preliminary round against Cavitex and MCFASolver Tech Centrale before pulling off an 18-15 win over NorthPort. They then defeated Pioneer ElastoSeal in the semifinals to arrange a rematch with Cavitex in the finals.
Cavitex, meanwhile, defeated Purefoods in the quarterfinals and Meralco Bolts 3x3 in the semis.
