Jeron Teng signs two-year deal with San Miguel Beer

Two days after tying the knot with his longtime girlfriend Jeanine Tsoi, Jeron Teng is set to open a new chapter in his life, this time in his basketball career, as he inked a deal to join San Miguel in the PBA.

His agent Danny Espiritu confirmed the development to GMA News Online on Wednesday.

The former De La Salle University standout inked a two-year contract with the Beermen after going as a free agent due to non-renewal of contract with his old team Converge, the franchise he played for since joining the league in 2017 as the fifth overall draft.

At San Miguel, the 29-year-old cager will join a stacked backcourt lineup that already features the likes of veterans CJ Perez, Jericho Cruz, Marcio Lassiter, and Terrence Romeo with other stars June Mar Fajardo, Mo Tautuaa, and Vic Manuel.

Teng is expected to make his San Miguel debut on November 15 when the Beermen take on NLEX.
