Team Lakay's Carlo Bumina-ang returns to action on Friday

MMA prospect Carlo Bumina-ang of Team Lakay will return to action just two months after his last outing when he takes on Denis Andreev on the undercard of ONE Friday Fights 37 this Friday, October 20 at Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Bumina-ang, 2-0 as a mixed martial artist, last saw action against Reza Saedi in August where he needed just 52 seconds to win by way of technical knockout. Raring to showcase his skills anew, Bumina-ang says he is looking for another finish on Friday.

"I am confident with my striking so I can win this by knockout or TKO. I can also get this on the ground so I am confident of winning," Bumina-ang said.

Andreev, meanwhile, is a Russian striker with a record of 1-0. Though highly confident of adding another win to his record, the Team Lakay representative is not taking his next fight for granted.

"He is a striker. Wherever we go, I will show my skills whether standing or on the ground," Bumina-ang quipped.
