Reigning ONE strawweight word champion Jarred Brooks is ready to give it another go with former world champion Joshua Pacio of Lions Nation MMA.
Pacio, 27, returned to the winning column this weekend with a unanimous decision nod over the highly-touted Mansur Malachiev. Shortly after the bout, Brooks took to Instagram to call out the Filipino mixed martial artist for a rematch.
"Joshua Pacio wins! Hey, round two, baby. Round two! Hey, you got the win, but you ain't going to get no win from me. You ain't going to get no belt, you ain't going to get nothing," Brooks said.
Pacio and Brooks shared the cage last December at the Mall of Asia Arena where the latter snatched the world title from the Filipino by way of unanimous decision.
Bent on keeping the title around his waist, Brooks said Pacio is not getting the gold-plated strap back.
"As you see, my TV is better than yours and my belt is better than yours and I am going to keep both of them," Brooks stated.
