Gilas Pilipinas players relish Asian Games gold medal win
Gilas Pilipinas players celebrated their historic feat in the 19th Asian Games as they won the men's basketball gold medal on Friday after winning over Jordan in the finals, 70-60, in Hangzhou, China.
June Mar Fajardo on his Instagram account called their team the "Golden Men."
Ange Kouame, in a post on X (formerly Twitter), called Justin Brownlee "the GOAT" or greatest of all time.

Scottie Thompson said he was overjoyed with the victory.
Chris Ross also posted photos of him with the Asiad gold medal.
Calvin Oftana, on the other hand, said "The goal is more important than the role!"
This is the Philippines' fourth gold medal in this year's Asiad, following pole vault's EJ Obiena and jiu-jitsu's Meggie Ochoa and Annie Ramirez.
