Austin Reaves, Dennis Schroder share moment after Germany win vs. USA

Former teammates Austin Reaves and Dennis Schroder shared a moment outside of their respective locker rooms after Germany stunned the United States in the 2023 FIBA World Cup semifinals on Friday.

The two were teammates when Schroder was still part of the Los Angeles Lakers.

In a video posted by Schroder on Saturday, the two players talked about had a little talk and in the caption of his post, the German player sent some love to USA's Reaves.

"Gives me tears in the eyes seeing you in front of our locker room after the game still going thru the pain because I know how big of a winner you are," Schroder wrote.

"You are a bad man on the court & off the court you are one of the most genuine persons Brodie, that’s why the world loves you! Stay that way." he added.

Reaves replied, "My brother."

The Germans beat the Americans, 113-111, to advance to the World Cup finals slated for Sunday night against Serbia. During the said game, Schroder posted 17 points while Reaves had 21 points.

The United States, meanwhile, will battle for the third spot against Canada.
