Luka Doncic appreciates the love from World Cup Manila crowd

Luka Doncic has been receiving a lot of love from his fans in Manila.

During Slovenia's quarterfinals match against Canada, Doncic has been a crowd favorite, getting cheers from the audience at the Mall of Asia Arena.

"I really appreciate the love. It's been amazing, so many fans support me," he said in a press conference after their 100-89 loss.

However, Doncic hopes to return the favor to the crowd when they go against Lithuania on Thursday.

"Tomorrow, we have another game so hopefully we can get them the win."

Doncic posted 26 points, five assists, and four rebounds before being thrown out in the fourth quarter.
