Dennis Schroder says he played 'worst game' against Latvia
Despite Germany winning against Latvia in the 2023 FIBA World Cup quarterfinals, 81-79, Dennis Schroder said he has probably played his "worst game" in his career.
Schroder posted nine points, four assists, and a rebound en route to securing a semifinals slot.
"That's probably the worst game I've ever played in my career," Schroder said on Wednesday.
Despite this, he credited his teammates for still helping him in the game.

"We're still in the semifinals, I think, shoutout to all these guys in the locker room who helped me win this game. That's the reason why we are together and we are a special team."
He also praised Latvia in their performance.
"Big shoutout to them. They played hard, shooting a lot of threes. [They've] beat[en] a lot of teams in this tournament. Shoutout to them, they're a really good team."
Latvia defeated powerhouse teams such as France and Spain in their dream run heading to Manila.
For now, they will enjoy the night and will try to return to their preparation when they play the United States on Friday in the semifinals.
