Luka Doncic and the Slovenia men's basketball team have landed in Manila on Monday for the 2023 FIBA World Cup.

The team's social media account posted a video of their arrival to the Philippines.

Slovenia advanced to the final eight round after getting four wins and a loss in its group stage phases in Okinawa.

The NBA star and Slovenia will face Canada in their quarterfinals match on Wednesday at the Mall of Asia Arena.

The Latvia men's basketball team, meanwhile, has also arrived in the country for the World Cup.

En route to the final eight, Latvia dispatched powerhouse teams such as Spain and Brazil.

The FIBA World Cup quarters will start on Tuesday with Lithuania facing Serbia at 4:45 p.m. and Italy going against USA at 8:40 pm.. at the Mall of Asia Arena.
