Gilas to 'give one more superhuman effort' vs. China, says Tim Cone
Gilas Pilipinas will take on China for their last game in the 2023 FIBA World Cup, and assistant coach Tim Cone said the national team will go all out in the said match.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Cone acknowledged that the nationals are undergoing a tough campaign in the World Cup.
"It's been tough on all of us, the players, the coaching staff, everyone involved," Cone wrote. "Needless to say, the results have not been what we wanted, but we're proud of our effort."

"We're now going to go out and give one more superhuman effort to beat China tonight," Cone wrote with the hashtag #NSD, usually associated with his PBA team Barangay Ginebra's mantra 'Never Say Die.'
The winless Gilas squad hopes to end their campaign on a high note as they face China at 8 p.m. at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
