USA's Anthony Edwards on their FIBA World Cup second round foes: We're gonna win
Team USA's Anthony Edwards is optimistic about their chances in the second round of the 2023 FIBA World Cup.
After sweeping their first round matches on Wednesday, Edwards said they are confident of going against their next opponents which include Lithuania, which has Jonas Valanciunas, and Montenegro, which has Nikola Vucevic.
"I mean, I think we're going to win. We're going to beat them also," Edwards said, drawing laughter from the members of the media with his straight up answer.

"We have a great chance to win. We have great coaching staff, we have great players, our confidence is at an all-time high, so we're not worried about those guys."
However, for USA head coach Steve Kerr, they still need to play better.
"We know that the competition is about to get tougher. We got to the second round, we got the best teams now and we have to play really well to win."
Greece and New Zealand will battle tonight for the final slot in their group.
