By JUSTIN KENNETH CARANDANG, GMA Integrated News
Austin Reaves and Team USA dismantled Greece, 109-81, for their second win in the 2023 FIBA World Cup on Monday at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Reaves led the USA with 15 points along with five rebounds and six assists while Anthony Edwards and Jalen Brunson each added 13 markers.
After a tight first quarter affair, the Americans relied on a strong second quarter to expand their lead to 13, 50-37, by the end of the first half. The United States then limited Greece to just 19 points against their 29-point performance to easily control the game until the final buzzer.
The United States will next face Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and the Jordan squad on Wednesday.
