Ginebra guard Jeremiah Gray suffers dislocated knee, says Tim Cone

Barangay Ginebra guard Jeremiah Gray has sustained a dislocated knee following an injury incident in the Gin Kings’ win against NLEX on Sunday in the PBA On Tour.

Gray went down during a fastbreak play with 22.5 seconds left in the third quarter,  grimacing in pain and holding onto his right knee. He was eventually stretchered off the court and did not return to the game as Ginebra pulled off a 91-85 victory to end their PBA On Tour campaign.

According to head coach Tim Cone, the doctors were able to correct the dislocated knee as Gray awaits if further procedures should be done.

“Jeremiah had a dislocated knee. The doctors were able to put the knee back in place and straighten it,” Cone told GMA News Online in a message on Monday.

“They are now in the process of evaluating the ligaments surrounding the knee. No decisions have been made yet about surgery.”

Before his exit, Gray put up eight points, seven rebounds, five assists, two blocks, and one steal.
