TNT regains winning form, rules PBA 3x3 Leg 3

The multi-titled 3x3 squad TNT Triple Giga returned to its old usual form as it defeated Pioneer Elastoseal, 17-13, to rule Leg 3 of the PBA 3x3 Season 3 First Conference on Tuesday at the Ayala Mall, Manila Bay.

Missing out on the title in the last two legs, the Triple Giga vented their ire by sweeping their way to the title and the P100,000 championship prize.

TNT, which completed a grand slam last season, eked out wins against Pioneer, San Miguel, and Ginebra in the pool stage. TNT and Ginebra again met in the quarterfinals with the Triple Giga coming away with a 21-19 win followed by a 20-19 escape against the Beermen in the semifinals.

Pioneer won P50,000 for the runner-up finish. Cavitex settled for bronze after beating the Beermen in the battle for third.
