Kai Sotto benched again as Magic fall to Pacers in NBA Summer League

Kai Sotto was benched once again as the Orlando Magic fell to the Indiana Pacers, 108-85, in the 2023 NBA Summer League on Tuesday morning (Manila time) at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.

The 7-foot-3 Filipino center was in the lineup but was listed as a DNP (Did Not Play-Coach's Decision) for the second straight game as he was also not fielded in Orlando's opener against the Detroit Pistons.

Guard Andrew Nembhard led the Pacers with 21 points, seven assists, three rebounds, and three steals while Isaiah Jackson recorded a double-double outing of 13 markers and 11 boards.

Sotto is one of 22 players named to the Summer League roster of the Magic.

The Orlando Magic will return to action on Thursday, July 13, against the New York Knicks.
