Wilcon Depot launches PBA 3x3 team

Wilcon Depot announced its newest venture as it launched a team for the PBA 3x3.

The team was introduced in a launch held on Thursday in Pasig, and will be composed of Louie Vigil, Yutien Andrada, Ael Banal, Keith Datu, and TH Tumalip, with Anton Altamirano calling the shots for the halfcourt team.

“We're grateful for this opportunity and we have our full trust that the players we have can represent Wilcon Depot well in the 3x3 stage," said Altamirano.

Wilcon Depot Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Rosemarie Bosch-Ong said joining the upcoming season of PBA 3x3 will allow them to connect with their customers and sports enthusiasts.

“We are taking our commitment to another level as we venture into the basketball world. Wilcon Depot's participation in the third season of PBA 3×3 represents our passion for every Filipino homeowner and our dedication to fostering a sense of community and camaraderie. This exciting endeavor allows us to further connect with our customers and sports enthusiasts alike," Bosch-Ong said.

PBA commissioner Willie Marcial also welcomed Wilcon Depot to the PBA.

"I believe sports and basketball build bridges para magkaisa at magtulong-tulong at makasama ng mga Pilipino — 'yan ang Wilcon Depot, kaparehas ng PBA. Kaya magsama-sama tayo at muli, welcome po ang Wilcon Depot sa 3x3 family," said Marcial.

Wilcon will be one of the 11 teams that will compete in PBA 3x3's third season which starts on July 3.
