FIBA launches online merch store for 2023 World Cup
Fans can now buy 2023 FIBA World Cup merchandise as the event introduced an online store for the competition slated from August 25 to September 10.
Apparel, headwear, accessories, stationery, and bags will be made available on the online store while pop-up and flagship stores nationwide will also sell merchandise.
Fan shops will also be selling goods at the FIBA World Cup venues, including the MOA Arena, the Araneta Coliseum, and the Philippine Arena.
“We wanted to make this event special by creating a collection of merchandise that suits everyone," said Jude Turcuato, Head of Sports at PLDT/Smart, in a statement.
"All of the designs were intricately created to celebrate national pride and the passion of the fans while maintaining high quality that will stand the test of time."
“After a year of extensive work, we are thrilled to launch the World Cup 2023 online store in the Philippines,” FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 executive director David Crocker added
"During the draw, the fans' passion was incredible, and we can already sense their immense enthusiasm for the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023. We are confident that we can meet the demand for official licensed products and merchandise, further fueling the excitement among basketball fans here in the Philippines.”
The Philippines will co-host the global competition alongside Indonesia and Japan, with the final leg happening in Manila.
