Reymart Gaballo to face Michael Bravo in 'stay busy' fight next week

Former interim bantamweight champion Reymart Gaballo will strut his wares in a "stay-busy" fight when he takes on his fellow Filipino Michael Bravo on June 17 at Elorde Ballroom in Sucat, Paranaque.

Gaballo, 25-1 with 21 knockouts as a professional boxer, last saw action in October in another stay-active bout against Ricardo Sueno in General Santos City where he won by way of technical knockout in round two.

“Reymart Gaballo returns to the ring against Michael Bravo for the WBO oriental bantamweight title on June 17th at Elorde Ballroom, Manila,” Sanman Boxing announced earlier today.

“With his sights set on a world title shot later this year or early next year, Gaballo sees this stay-busy fight as the perfect opportunity to showcase his skills and make a statement in the division.”

Bravo, meanwhile, holds a decent professional record of 14-2 with 7 knockouts. He last saw action in February against Ernesto Camiguing, whom he dispatched by way of technical knockout in the fourth round.
