Athletics' Cendy Asusano, powerlifter Marydol Pamati-an bag golds in Cambodia Para Games


The Philippines had two more gold medals from the ASEAN Para Games in Cambodia on Sunday from athletics' Cendy Asusano and powerlifting's Marydol Pamati-an.

Asusano copped the third gold medal for the country as she reigned in the women's shot put F54 event.

 

 

Compatriot Jesebel Tordecilla claimed the bronze medal in the shot put F55 event, while Ma. Ravinia Carpena also got a bronze from the F20 class.

 

 

 

 

Pamatian, meanwhile, won not just a gold, but also a silver medal in the powerlifting women's 41kg event.

 

 

Achelle Guion, meanwhile, had two silver medals for her best lift and total lift in the powerlifting women's 45kg class.

 

 

The Philippines currently has four gold medals in total from the Cambodia Para Games.
