Robert Bolick bound for Japan B.League, signs with Fukushima
Robert Bolick is ready to take his talent elsewhere as the former PBA star inked a deal with the Fukushima Firebonds to see action in the Japan B. League Division 2.
The team announced the development on Monday, marking a new chapter in Bolick’s career.
“Hi, I’m Robert Bolick from the Philippines. I am very grateful and blessed to be part of Fukushima Firebonds,” Bolick said in a statement.
“I’m truly honored to represent this team and showcase my skills and talent to achieve greater heights with this nee family.”
A three-time NCAA champion with San Beda University, Bolick had suited up for the NorthPort Batang Pier since getting drafted third overall in 2018. He wasn’t able to translate his collegiate championship success in the professional ranks as the closest he got to a PBA title was a semifinals appearance.
