Gilas Pilipinas 3x3 settles for silver as Cambodia takes SEAG gold

The Philippine national men's 3x3 basketball team fell short against Cambodia, 20-15, in the final match of the men's 3x3 basketball tournament on Sunday in the 32nd Southeast Asian Games in Cambodia.

Gilas trailed, 16-13, with less than three minutes left, until the Cambodian squad, which included multiple naturalized players, took the win.

Prior to the final, the squad composed of Almond Vosotros, Joseph Sedurifa, Joseph Eriobu, and Lervin Flores, defeated erstwhile champion Thailand in the semifinals, 21-19.

The Philippines claimed the bronze medal in the 2021 edition of the biennial meet.
