Abando, Anyang fall to Seoul SK in crucial Game 5


Rhenz Abando struggled on his offense as Anyang KGC bowed to Seoul SK, 66-60, in the pivotal Game 5 of their best-of-seven Korean Basketball League (KBL) finals series on Wednesday at the Jamsil Student Gymnasium.

The Filipino import saw action for 37 minutes but only logged four points on 2-of-12 shooting, 10 rebounds and one assist as Anyang fell to 3-2 series deficit while the defending champion Seoul SK moved one win away from another title.

Jamil Wonney led the charge for the Knights with a team-high 18 points alongside 15 rebounds and one assist while Kim Seon Hyung and Heo Il Young chipped in 16 and 10 markers apiece.

Abando and Anyang will look to stay alive come Game 6 set on Friday at 5 p.m.
