Yao Ming, Luis Scola land in Manila ahead of FIBA World Cup Draw
Basketball legends Yao Ming and Luis Scola landed in the Philippines on Friday ahead of the 2023 FIBA World Cup Draw on Saturday.
Yao, a member of the FIBA Central Board, arrived in the country from Beijing, according to the Manila International Airport Authority which also shared photos of his arrival.

Scola, meanwhile, is a legend for the national team of Argentina and is one of the FIBA World Cup Global Ambassadors.
On Thursday, former Dallas Mavericks star Dirk Nowitzki arrived in the country also for the Draw.
The draw will be held on Saturday night at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
