Carmelo Anthony congratulates Gilas Pilipinas after win over Lebanon

Former NBA star and 2023 FIBA World Cup ambassador Carmelo Anthony was a witness to the Philippine national team's 107-96 victory against Lebanon in the sixth window of the 2023 FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers on Friday at the Philippine Arena.

After the match, Anthony congratulated the national team on the court of the venue.

Earlier, Anthony was formally introduced as one of the World Cup ambassadors, alongside Luis Scola and Pau Gasol.

The Philippines will host the World Cup, alongside Japan and Indonesia, on August 2023.
