TNT is set to parade a new import as the Tropang Giga tapped Rondae Hollis-Jefferson to replace Jalen Hudson in their ongoing campaign in the 2023 PBA Governors' Cup.
The development came ahead of TNT's looming clash against Blackwater on Wednesday at the Mall of Asia Arena.
TNT is currently second in the team standings at 5-1, but the management deemed it necessary to make an import change halfway through the elimination round.
Hollis-Jefferson is a former 23rd overall pick in the NBA back in 2015 and played for various teams such as the Brooklyn Nets, Toronto Raptors, and Portland Trail Blazers.
He will take the place of Hudson, who was actually doing well for the Tropang Giga. Hudson is leading TNT with 33.83 points per game alongside 9.33 rebounds and 4.17 assists as he played six matches so far.
Hollis-Jefferson is expected to suit up when TNT squares off with the slumping Bossing, who currently stand at 10th spot with a 1-5 card, behind a four-game losing streak.
