Barangay Ginebra routs Magnolia, inches closer to PBA Comms Cup Finals
Barangay Ginebra San Miguel dismantled Magnolia, 103-80, in Game 3 of the 2022 PBA Commissioner's Cup semifinals to inch closer to a Finals slot on Sunday at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig.
Ginebra held control of the game from tip off and pulled away in the second quarter after outsourcing the Hotshots, 32-19, to claim the lead, 49-34, at the end of the first half.
Justin Brownlee tallied 38 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists, while LA Tenorio chipped in 20 points to give Ginebra a 2-1 lead in the best-of-five series.
Jio Jalalon made 16 points, while import Nick Rakocevic tallied 10 points on top of his 12 boards. Adrian Wong and Aris Dionisio chipped in 10 points each.
The two teams will face again on Wednesday at 3 pm at the Mall of Asia Arena.
