John Amores joins Zamboanga Valientes
John Amores is heading to the Zamboanga Valientes.
The team announced the development on Thursday, saying they believed the former JRU Heavy Bomber deserved a second chance.
"We at Valientes believe in 2nd chance[s]. He is a good player who made a mistake in which he truly regrets. One mistake does not define who you are," the team wrote on its social media page.

The team also said Amores, which was their former moniker, means love and "we believe na he can be a change[d] man this time."
"Tingin namin makakatulong sya sa team lalo na sa defense at outside shooting nya. Aabangan natin ang pagangat ni Amores sa Valientes," it added.
Amores was indefinitely suspended by the NCAA after punching some players of the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde during their game on November 8. He has since apologized to the Blazers, although a complaint was lodged against him following the incident.
The Zamboanga Valientes previously competed in leagues such as Liga Pilipinas, Chooks-to-Go 3x3, and the Pilipinas VisMin Super Cup.
