Bolick, Malonzo lead race for BPC plum in Commissioner's Cup


Former teammates Robert Bolick and Jamie Malonzo are the frontrunners for the Best Player of the Conference race in the 2022 PBA Commissioner's Cup. 

NorthPort guard Bolick is currently leading the race with 35.9 statistical points after averaging 21.7 points per game by the end of the elimination round while Malonzo, who was traded by the Batang Pier to Ginebra, is at the second spot with 31.3 SPs.

Malonzo's teammate, Scottie Thompson, is coming in at third place with 31.1 while Magnolia's Jio Jalalon and San Miguel's CJ Perez are at fourth and fifth places, respectively, with 30.4 and 30.3 SPs. 

NLEX's Earl Clark, meanwhile, showed the way for the Best Import award as the American reinforcement currently has 56.0 SPS followed by Quincy Miller of Converge (55.3) and Justin Brownlee of Ginebra (52.4). 

Completing the top five are Nicholas Rakocevic of Magnolia and Devon Scott of San Miguel who collected 52.3 and 48.3 each.
