Rain or Shine knocks out NLEX to set up quarters faceoff with Bay Area

The Rain or Shine Elastopainters knocked out the NLEX Road Warriors, 110-100, to clinch the last playoff spot in the 2022 PBA Commissioner's Cup on Sunday at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig.

Ryan Pearson flirted with a double-double with 24 points and nine rebounds, while Andrei Caracut had 19 points and seven rebounds in the Rain or Shine win.

Meanwhile, Earl Clark had 37 points and 16 rebounds while Don Trollano had 15 points and 12 rebounds in the NLEX loss.

Rain or Shine will face Bay Area in the playoffs, with the Dragons having the playoff bonus. Magnolia, with the playoff bonus, will face the Phoenix Super LPG. 

Converge will face the San Miguel Beermen, while Barangay Ginebra will go against NorthPort in a best-of-three series.
