NorthPort snaps three-game skid at NLEX's expense


The NorthPort Batang Pier snapped a three-game losing skid at the expense of the NLEX Road Warriors, 107-94, on Wednesday in the 2022 PBA Commissioner's Cup at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

NorthPort took control for the majority of the game and led by as much as 24, 92-68, after Robert Bolick's free throws at the 9:04 mark of the fourth period.

Bolick registered 33 points, 12 rebounds, and seven assists to improve the Batang Pier's standings to 4-5, while import Prince Ibeh had 22 points and 17 rebounds.

Reinforcement Earl Clark posted 29 points and 15 rebounds, while Kevin Alas scored 18 points, making them the two only players who scored in double digits in the NLEX loss which brought them down to 3-5.

NorthPort will face Terrafirma on Saturday, while NLEX will go against the Bay Area Dragons on Sunday.
