Rhenz Abando makes KBL season debut as Anyang KGC escapes Suwon

Rhenz Abando finally made his season debut, producing quality minutes in Anyang KGC's 70-68 escape of Suwon KT in the 2022 Korean Basketball League on Sunday.

The high-flying Filipino import and former NCAA Rookie MVP registered six points on 3-of-7 from the field to go along with four rebounds in just 10 minutes of action.

Abando missed Anyang's first six games and with the former Letran standout finally playing, the Korean club improved to 6-1 behind a second straight win.

Meanwhile, SJ Belangel waxed hot from beyond the arc to steer Daegu KOGAS Pegasus to a 92-83 victory over the Goyang Carrot Jumpers, ending their three-game slide to improve to a  2-4 card.

Belangel registered 25 points, highlighted by six three-pointers, to go along with  two rebounds, three assist, and one steal.

RJ Abarrientos finished with nine points, five assists, and four rebounds as Ulsan Hyundai Mobis Phoebus fell to the Changwon LG Sakers, 79-68.
