Matthew Wright's Kyoto bounces back after Sendai demolition

Matthew Wright's Kyoto Hannaryz bounced back on Sunday against Sendai 89ers, 66-65, a day after its 92-65 loss in the Japan B.League.

Wright tallied five points and two rebounds on Sunday as his team improved to a 1-1 record.

Meanwhile, Justine Baltazar's squad Hiroshima Dragonflies won over the Yokohama B-Corsairs, 70-68. Baltazar, however, was scoreless in the game.

Jay Washington's Ryukyu Golden Kings also won against Utsonomiya Brex, 85-70, despite the Filipino import not playing in the game.

Kiefer Ravena's Shiga Lakes lost to Gunma Crane Thunders, 92-71, with Kiefer tallying 11 points. His brother Thirdy and the San-En Neophoenix squad had a close loss against the Kawasaki Brave Thunders, 88-84, with Thirdy tallying 18 points and eight rebounds.

Dwight Ramos only had eight points in Levanga Hokkaido's 97-74 loss against Akita Northern Happinets.

B.League action will return next weekend.
