Onic snaps three-game slide with sweep of NXPE

Onic Philippines averted a season collapse with a much-needed 2-0 sweep of Nexplay Evos in Week 6 of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 10 on Saturday.

Onic recovered from three straight losses after leading the league standings early in the season.

It was their 6th win in 10 season matches with 18pts, currently tied with Blacklist on top of the standings.

Game 1 boiled down to a 20th lord dance where NXPE managed to control the lord area and secure the evolved lord only for Landher "Der" San Gabriel (Paquito) to flank and successfully score a double kill on Jeniel "Yellyhaze"Bata-anon (Xavier) and Mariusz " DONUT" Tan (Beatrix), two of NXPE's crucial heroes. 0

Kenneth "Nets" Barro (Clint) also provided pinpoint marksmanship in the pivotal clash as he also scored a double kill that swept NXPE's base turret defense .

Der finished with a 3-1-2 KDA while Nets posted a 7-2-0 KDA.

Onic played a meticulous Game 2, focusing on objectives to take control of the match and conceded their first death only during an 11th minute inhibitor turret initiation.

The Hedgehogs then scored a 5-2 wipeout during a 14th minute midlane skirmish to complete the sweep.
