NBA player Jalen Green returns to Manila
Fil-Am player Jalen Green of the Houston Rockets is back in Manila!
Green arrived in Manila this morning as he will be hosted by sports and lifestyle brand adidas for the JG4 Manila Tour, where the brand will take him on a tour and make him experience Filipino culture, street lifestyle, and grassroots sports.
This is the third time that Green, who is a global ambassador of the brand, visited the country.
Jen Dacasin, adidas Philippines brand activation manager, described Green's visit as a bit different from the previous athlete visits they have hosted.
“It is with great pride and excitement that adidas Philippines welcomes another NBA athlete— and most importantly one with Filipino roots— to the country. This has been prepared a bit differently from how our previous athlete visits were because firstly, we are taking into consideration the health and safety of Jalen as well as our fellow Filipinos, but also, we wanted to make sure that we give Jalen this opportunity to see and experience a different and more authentic side of the Philippines as he represents the Three Stripes,” said Dacasin.
During the course of his rookie season in the NBA, Green averaged 17.3 points and 3.4 rebounds per game.
