Guadana waxes hot, powers LPU past FEU in Filoil action; EAC downs UE

Mac Guadana waxed hot from beyond the arc to tow Lyceum of the Philippines University past Far Eastern University, 71-62, in the 2022 Filoil EcoOil Preseason Cup on Monday at the Filoil EcoOil Centre in San Juan.

Guadana connected seven triples and tallied 29 markers, the only Pirate to score in double digits in the win.

Earlier, the Emilio Aguinaldo College Generals defeated the University of the East, 72-65, with Adam Doria hauling 21 points and five triples. JP Maguliano made 13 points in the win.

In the third game of the preseason, the University of Santo Tomas staged a late rally to escape Jose Rizal University, 86-78.

Sherwin Concepcion and Bryan Santos listed 20 points each for the España-based squad.
